Harrow Light Opera Company

Founded in 1944, the Harrow Light Opera Company is a very active and friendly group. We present two major musical productions every year in our current home at the Watersmeet Theatre, Rickmansworth.

After a very successful run in May 2011 with Calamity Jane, we are delighted to announce that our next show will be Half a Sixpence, from 11th-15th October, 2011 once again at the Watersmeet Theatre. Ticket information can be found here.

With productions costing around £25,000 we rely on a small but dedicated voluntary management team for our continued growth. Professional Directors, Musical Directors and Choreographers ensure that the highest possible standards are achieved, in addition to which each production involves up to 40 people on stage, and a further army of around 100 invaluable people back-stage and front of house! So we’re always looking for new members to join us.
